The University of São Paulo is one of the top 5 Latin American universities with the best reputation.
As well as the region’s most prestigious university, the University of São Paulo is the largest Brazilian university.
Twelve Brazilian presidents were alumni of the university, and a significant number of graduates have gone on to become CEOs of some of the world’s largest companies.
The university – known as USP – teaches about 250 undergraduate degrees and 240 graduate programs.
The Engineering School – known as Poli – was founded in 1893.
It offers 17 graduation courses and has the biggest Brazilian Engineering Graduate Program.
With its cutting-edge researches, it has been an important agent to the scientific and technological development of the country.
The Workshop in Graduate of the Computing Engineering Program is held annually at the Electrical Engineering School.
Its 5th edition will take place in 24th of November of 2016.
The main objective is to present all the ongoing Graduate researches (both in M.Sc. and Ph.D.) related to Computing Engineering.

Graduate students in Computing Engineering, technicians, Brazilian researchers, entrepreneurs and members of governmental institutions.
The new organization committee intends to reinforce connections with the market, bringing keynote speakers to the event, presenting themes related to the state-of-the-art in Computer Engineering.
The WPG EC is growing each year, and soon it will be one of the most important events of the Brazilian scientific community and a reference to the market.
